For example, I checked out 崖上の波兒, the collection of  Akira Kurosawa films the library has (e.g. Rashomon and Seven Samurai), and funny men Ricky GervaisThe Office, and Simon Pegg‘s How to Lose Friends & Alienate People and Hot Fuzz.

Basic Investment knowledge

Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE)

At the end of the day, I try to have as little regret as possible. If I think I have passion in doing something, I would rather have tried (and tried hard) to find out if I am any good. To me, I don’t what to live life and look back and ask myself, “what-if”, “what if I had done that with my life?”

If you have the privilege, in terms of resources in time/money/health, do try things. I believe when we are older (or old), we will feel better if we have at least give it our best shot.

Use money wisely to buy time, if you can.

People think I’m either lying or crazy when I say this, but it happens to be true, because I used my nest egg [K: what could have been $72 million] to buy something more valuable than money: I used it to buy time.” – Peter Buffett

Better late than never!! Here are some thoughts ….

Public libraries are good for borrowing expensive bks that I will read maybe only once.

Basic Investment knowledge: My demand-side investment strategy is to prioritize spending (e.g. eat clean, exercise, travel), while ensuring I have “enough” to wrap things up.

Most of my regrets were committed when I was young: 花開堪折直須折,莫待無花空折枝 (三) / Reminiscing in Front of a Closed Door (Part 3)
But I have learnt since then !!!

    Hi Haricot,

    1. Yeah, I borrow those expensive picture books from libraries. This Gordon Ramsay book is in that category: lovely to check out once/twice but way too expensive or big to own,

    2. ha ha, “demand-side investment strategy”

    3. Actually, your “regret” won’t defined as such by me. In terms of love, not asking or not telling of the feeling would be “regret”.
