P.S. In the early days when I first met 老吳, he was loud, very angry, and very much against the Chinese communist government. While I may not agree with some of his approaches or views, I really admire his determinations and dedications.
In the recent years, Mr. Ng’s mind had not been as sharp as before as he didn’t recognize/remember people as well. But he was still deeply dedicated to the democratic movement even, in one case, ignoring his personal safety.
I am deeply saddened since hearing this news last night. 老吳’s life-long and instinctive dedication to democracy is something I aspire to learn from.
Dear 老吳, may you rest in peace.
