See the end of this post for my two unexpected/surprising comments.
My first expected/surprising comment is about “曹仁超 講國語”, some people laugh at 曹仁超’s 國語. But many of these Chinese probably speaks worst English than 曹仁超’s 國語. And you know what, I bet some of these people don’t even speak good enough 國語 themselves. I try not to laugh at someone’s language because at least they are giving it a try, as oppose to giving up and rely on a translator.
My second unexpected/surprising comment is about his view about HSBC. I think Mr. Tso told a cute story at HKU but the rationales are flawed. He was just stating his concluding views without any reasoning which, to me, are more important then the decisions (right or wrong). See my comments about HSBC here.
The way I look at the Chinese idiom “三人行必有我師”, the three people can be the wisest people I know, the dumbest idiots in town, or a mix of smart and less smart people, and I will try to learn something from them. Sometimes learning what not to do is more important than what one should to do. And thats why I aspire to make mistakes faster.
