For the record (emphasis added),
( The thing women must do to rise to power is to redefine their femininity. Power has no sex.)

Update 2: Looks like TVB used YouTube copyright takedown notice to remove the clip of “「新聞小花」淚灑當場”, can anyone help me locate a copy of the videos so I can watch it first hand? Many thanks.
Update 1: In my comments to a reader, I stated how proud I am of the CBC reporter Mellissa Fung. She is a reporter that made us Canadians proud. Here is an excerpt what I wrote,
Mellissa Fung, a CBC reporter, was kidnapped in Afghanistan while she was reporting on a story there. The way she responded made me feel lucky to have her as a reporter being eyes and ears for Canadians. Here is her bio on Wikipedia.
Here is a video of Mellissa being video interviewed after being held captive for 26 days. Yes, 26 days! In the interview, she was calm, understated, and wonderfully professional talking about **her own** kidnap. I suspect Mellissa’s performance (watch it yourself) will put many HK TV news ladies to shame in comparison.

Pema,
I still think 陶傑 is too offensive too often but I have to agree with him on this one. 新聞小花 淚灑當場 makes me feel sorry and embarrassed in calling herself a “reporter”.

Pema,
First of all, this is 陶傑’s article that I am reposting, not my article.
HK news media (TV entertainment and newspapers) are often loose in naming this or that person as 小花. Which those professional women have NO control of, so I don’t fault these ladies. What I have trouble with is how these professional women act in their professional capacity. And this “新聞小花” just crumbled like a little flower! Her crying may be good TV but this rerpoter has little right to call herself a “journalist” or “reporter”.
