好高興同多謝巴黎的Michelle 零八年八月提出第一次兩周一聚這構想。
我很開心可以定「兩周一聚」第十一期題目：
傳統 & 傳統智慧 / Convention & Conventional Wisdom
哩個題目請大家試一試，用中文和英文在同一博裡面各寫一篇，要有唔同內容嘅文章。你可能會話，嘩嘩嘩，中文同英文都“各寫一篇”，咪即係寫兩篇，加燦你搵我笨咩? 哈哈哈，無搵笨喎，你篇中文(或者英文)文章可以寫一句都得。哈哈哈，冇問題啦嗎？
希望您會喜歡這題目一齊玩。萬二分多謝。
三月三十日請自行出版貼博。

好的問題， You see, I didn’t translate 傳統 to convention (not that it is wrong). What happened in this case was this. 傳統 actually came from “convention”, and “convention” actually came from “conventional wisdom”.
It is not part of the “official” topic. But, to me, I am writing and spinning my “兩周一聚(十一)題目：傳統 & 傳統智慧 / Convention & Conventional Wisdom” into four smaller “題目”. I will be having some fun in each of them.
例如，我的中文名字係由我的英文名字 Kempton 翻譯出來的。哈哈。

You see, writing blog entries in Chinese is killing me in two ways (writing Chinese and typing Chinese) but I am doing it to try to become better.
Here is an insightful story and experiment by a ceramics teacher “… dividing the class into two groups. All those on the left side of the studio, he said, would be graded solely on the quantity of work they produced, all those on the right solely on its quality. His procedure was simple: on the final day of class he would bring in his bathroom scales and weigh the work of the “quantity” group: fifty pound of pots rated an “A”, forty pounds a “B”, and so on. Those being graded on “quality”, however, needed to produce only one pot -albeit a perfect one – to get an “A””

Hi exile,
I suck in “中文打字”! Well, basically I don’t know “中文打字”, period! So you can’t be much worst than me!!!
Now, if your only obstacle is “中文打字”, then let me help you by giving you one idea.
Just handwrite your article, take a picture of it, and then upload and post that picture! Bingo, you don’t even have to type. This works like a charm, and I do it when I am not picky and my readers don’t mind. (Well, I email my markup to the readers.)
So problem solved, will you join us and write? This will be fun.
